Overview
Installing the Vue 3 home energy monitor 200A current sensors around a bus bar is difficult, dangerous, and often impossible. Many North American homes have combo panels with the meter on one side and breakers on the other. These panels send current from the meter side to the mains via bus bars. We have a solution!
Flexible Current Sensors
Flexible Current Sensors replace the 200A main sensors that ship with Vue 3. They employ a bendable Rogowski coil with a 1.4” (36mm) opening that can fit around most bus bars or into tight spaces where a standard current sensor clamp cannot fit.
Key Features
- Designed for split-phase 120/240V North American homes or 240V single-phase power.
- Compatible only with the Gen 3 Emporia Vue.
- Recommended installation by a licensed electrician or qualified professional.
- Requires installation of an included alternative power supply for the flexible sensors.
- Replaces traditional CT clamps with a current-sensing Rogowski cable.
- Measures current around bus bars in electrical panels where main cables are not accessible.
- Accurate energy monitoring.
- Plugs into ports 1, 2, or 3 of your Gen 3 Emporia Vue.
