Product Information
FranklinWH provides a whole home energy management and storage solution with two main components:
- aGate: The intelligent energy management controller.
- aPower: An energy storage battery.
aPower Battery Specifications
- Each aPower battery offers 13.6 kWh of storage and 5 kW continuous power, backed by a 12-year warranty for up to 43 MWh throughput.
- Multiple aPowers can be connected in parallel, allowing up to 15 batteries per aGate, for a total capacity of 204 kWh.
- A single aPower unit is powerful enough to start a 4-ton air conditioner.
aPower X Advantages
aPower X is made with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells, which offer the following advantages:
- Safety: LFP batteries are renowned for their superior safety features. Their inherent stability minimizes the risk of thermal runaway and eliminates the possibility of combustion, making them highly resistant to overheating and explosions.
- Longevity: These batteries exhibit an impressive cycle life, capable of enduring thousands of charge and discharge cycles without significant capacity loss. Compared to other lithium-ion batteries, LFP batteries have a prolonged lifespan.
- High Power Density: Lithium iron phosphate batteries possess excellent power density, enabling them to deliver high levels of energy quickly.
